8 ounce package of bow tie pasta (farfalle)

1 lb ground beef

1 onion, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic

Italian seasoning

28 oz jar pasta sauce

8 ounces mozzarella cheese (grated)

¼ cup Parmesan cheese


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In large pot, prepare pasta according to package directions.

In large skillet over medium heat, sauté onions for 5 minutes.  Add ground beef and cook till beef is browned.  Drain fat.  Stir in pasta sauce and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat to a simmer.

Stir in cooked pasta and ½ of the mozzarella cheese into the meat sauce till combined.  Transfer to baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.

Bake in oven till lightly browned and bubble, about 20 minutes.
