9 cups Chex Cereal (Rice and Corn)

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Also needed: stock pot, spoon, 2 gal ziplock back, waxed or parchment paper


In large stockpot, over low heat, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter till combined and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Add chex cereal and gently stir till all cereal is evenly covered. Pour coated cereal into 2 gal ziplock bag and add powdered sugar. Gently toss to coat all cereal with powdered sugar. Spread out onto waxed paper or parchment paper and cool completely.
