I’m guessing that almost everyone knows how to make tacos. Seasoned ground beef topped with any combination of chili beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guacamole. It’s an easy meal that can accommodate many different tastes and allergies!
Here’s a recipe for your own taco seasoning:
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or Cayenne Pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons corn starch
Blend all spices and put in an airtight container. Omit Red Pepper Flakes or Cayenne Pepper if you prefer a mild seasoning.
To make taco meat, brown 1 lb ground beef. Drain fat and add 2/3 cup water and 2 Tablespoons taco seasoning. Simmer on low till water is absorbed.
